To succeed in the Biotechnology industry, human resources must be a true business partner. However, many starting and young companies still either do not have HR representation, or add these responsibilities to the busy schedule of an administrative assistant or finance officer. Usually the question is “can we afford to hire an HR representative”.
In this expert class several aspects of Human resource management of a life Sciences company will be addressed. How to recruit the best team members? How to build and maintain a unique and personal corporate culture from the start of your company. What are the administrative, legal and organisational requirements needed for hiring employees. When choosing for outsourcing recruitment and/or human resource management? The topic will be addressed from two different life sciences companies perspectives. From a young life sciences company Scope Biosciences and an established company GenDx.
Next to the presentations all topics will also be discussed during a panel discussion where participants also could bring in their cases. During the programme there is sufficient time for networking.
The expert class program is set up in an interactive way such that the participants have also the possibility to bring their own questions and discuss issues they encounter in their own (start-up) company and/or business case. The experts will give you feedback on your questions.
